weekend recap: Boston

Thursday, May 1

Dave and I traveled up to Boston, MA for a long Easter weekend - mostly to see my brother before he graduates in June but also to visit friends {hi Merrell & Priya!} and to explore the city. Friday was spent touring around the Freedom Trail and trying not to freeze our Texas booties off. We saw Paul Revere's house, Faneuil Hall, the Boston Massacre Site and Old North Church. Apparently you can't miss eating an Italian dinner in the North End either. We recommend Mama Maria & dessert at Mike's Pastry

Grateful for the change in weather on Saturday, we got to check 'seeing a Red Sox game' off David's bucket list. The Green Monster really is an incredible experience - and I'm not even into baseball. I think it may have been my red sunnies that really got me into the spirit though...so there's that.
Can't keep me away from these treats!
We couldn't leave town without touring around the MIT campus and enjoying a big Easter brunch on Sunday. And with that, we were back on the plane home again, home again...
So beyond proud of that guy to my left! Can't wait to see where your journey takes you next, David!
