Now that our summer travels have come and gone David and I want to kick the cooking up a notch in the McFarland kitchen. Usually you will find chicken or fish + a veggie + brown rice on our dinner plates. Albeit healthy…this combo gets boring pretty quickly. I’ve promised myself that starting now I will crack open my cookbooks and incorporate more creative dishes into the weekly mix. It takes extra planning but I know the end result will be delicious, tasty meals. Worth it! Plus, cooking has become rewarding & relaxing for me. I love turning up the tunes, sipping a glass of wine and serving us a healthy meal.
