Happy Thanksgiving!

Thursday, November 24

David and I spent Sunday night celebrating an early Thanksgiving
with the McFarlands.

Katie and Billy were in charge of the desserts.
We were in charge of the stuffing.
Sue and Mitch were in charge of everything else.

I made two different stuffing varieties for the crew.
The cornbread kind and the regular kind {with sausage add-in, duh}.
The Pepperidge Farm variety came highly recommended.
So we went with it and it turned out to be a winner.
Seriously, it was so delicious.

Much like the rest of the meal - come to think of it.

We ate until we couldn't anymore, we drank yummy wine
and we were thankful to be together. Like most Thanksgivings should be.

And then I almost burned the house down.
But that's a story for another day.

So with that...
Happy Thanksgiving, dear readers.
I hope all of you have a wonderful day with family and friends.

 {this year's turkey carver and his proud mama}
 {perfect slice}
 {A+ for carving excellence}
 {that's a whole lot of food}
 {family love}
 {straight out of a Pottery Barn catalog, I tell ya - so beautiful!}
{always save room for dessert - pecan pie and deconstructed pumpkin cupcakes}
